Not sure how I ended up on the Jurlique website – maybe I wanted some more rosewater? At any rate, I ended up on this page which is their Scent of Rose page. Sounded good to me. But what sounded even better was their Essence of Rose Roll-On Fragrance Oil. I love the scent of Jurlique’s rose scent. Their rosewater has a fresh pretty scent and is one of my favourites, and  a staple in my cleansing routine. So I had to order it – unsniffed! Then I saw the Rose Body Care Lotion and since I was feeling nostalgic about my Rose Milk lotion, I ordered it as well.

They arrived a few days later and I couldn’t be happier. If you are on the search for a soft rose scent, look no further than Jurlique’s. It is the gentlest purest rose scent and stays very close to the skin. It smells classic, feminine and clean, like a lovely rose soap. Now – the lotion? Body softening and scenting nirvana, it is. Wow! It just sinks right into the skin beautifully, full of healing oils and glycerin, and of course, that lovely Jurlique signature rose scent. It was super hot here last week, and I was wearing shorts or sundresses every day. The Jurlique Rose Body Care Lotion moisturizes skin beautifully, and leaves your skin glowing and dewy, with just a lovely hint of rose scent. Neither of these products are what I would call “strongly” scented, and maybe even have a softer scent than just a regular body lotion. They smell gentle and natural, as a rose would. Verdict? Love. Will I repurchase? You betcha.

One request for Jurlique – can you please make a hair care line that is rose scented? Because that would be amazing.
