If you read this blog regularly you know I love soft clean musk perfumes. I particularly love musk oils – they melt into the skin and become part of your chemistry, and just smell clean and warm, but also subtly sexy. I love Egyptian musks especially, they are the cleanest of the musks, and have a soft floral/woodsy aspect that I adore.

One of the best loved Egyptian musks is Auric Blends Egyptian Goddess. It’s available at health food stores (I get mine at Wholefoods) or from their website. It’s less than $10 for a roll on bottle that will last ages and ages. To my nose it is the most woodsy of the Egyptian musks – it has a sweet yet dry feeling. It always gets me compliments (only from those close enough to smell it) and I feel clean and feminine when I wear it. I always have a bottle in my purse- the rollerball makes it easy peasy to apply anywhere, anytime.  It’s perfect for a quick perfume pick me up, and never clashes with any perfume I might have applied earlier. Funny, how musks are like that. They can take on their own delicate scent of their own, or compliment whatever perfume you might already be wearing, adding depth and sexiness. Verdict? Love, of course. I will always have this with me.
