Sometimes all it takes is one photo of a beauty campaign to send me running to the cosmetic counter. Dior  Trianon Spring 2014 is one of those times. The whole collection evokes the gorgeous yummy colours of Sofia Coppola’s film, Marie Antoinette. Dreamy, pretty, feminine and, well, perfection.

The nail polishes were calling to me. The sky blue meets robin’s egg blue Porcelaine cream was irresistible. But it was when I quickly perused the blogs to see some swatches that Perlé became a must-have as well. Perlé is a shimmery sheer rainbow toned polish with an unexpected matte finish. I say unexpected because who expects a shimmer polish to be matte? No one! It give a stunning matte porcelain finish to all colours, and basically turns Porcelaine into one of the most beautiful colours ever. Ever ever. Let’s just enjoy them, shall we?
