The giant popularity of highlighting and strobing has had a lovely effect on recent beauty releases. These can be used head to toe, although to be practical, using them on your face and décolletage are what is recommended.

I love how there are softer shades added to these bronzers, in addition to a bit of shimmer for faking the perfect summer glow. They are sheer and buildable, and perfect.

PUR Minerals Glow Together Jumbo Bronzer ($34 usd) is simply gorgeous. The PUR powders are always beautifully milled and blend like a dream. I love that this bronzer is half matte and half shimmer shades that helps mimic a sun-inspired contour to maintain a golden-hue all-year-long. Dust the shimmer over your cheek bones for glow and use one of the matte shades to add a touch of contour.

How do I love thee, Guerlain Terracotta Terra Magnifica ($78 usd)… Let me count the ways. Firstly, the gorgeous collector tin. When the powder is done, just pop put the compact to keep the gorgeous Guerlain tin. Although it’s so big I cannot imagine hitting pan on this mega beauty. Secondly, I love the magical combination of Guerlain shades that all mix together to create a perfect glow. I adore the combination of the best-selling Terracotta shade 03, which naturally warms all complexions, and a sand shade with a slight gold shimmer. Thirdly, THE SCENT. Ahhhh I love it! I’m sure it’s meant to be the Terracotta La Parfum fragrance but this particular blend of orange blossom, fressia, tonka bean and vanilla has me swooning. Terra Magnifica is also perfect for blush, contour, tan and highlighting.

The Clarins Bronzing & Blush Compact  ($42 cad) combines two matte bronzing shades – copper beige and sun-drenched beige, a golden tint and apricot blush tone to awaken the radiance of all skin tones. Like all Clarins cosmetics, the formula is good for this skin and is rich in minerals and plant ingredients. I love the soft and natural look I get from the perfect combination of sun drenched shades of this Clarins compact.
