Makeup You Need: MAKE UP FOR EVER High Definition Pressed Powder

I’ve thought that MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Microfinish Powder for years. A friend with skin like mine (tends to be oily) recommended it and I’ve pretty much used it every day since then. I bought a couple of the mini sized ones from Sephora, but even though they were small, I was never comfortable carrying loose powder in my purse. I used to say, ” I wish MAKE UP FOR EVER made their HD powder in a compact”. Well, the makeup gods were listening, granted my wish, and now the makeup industry’s must-have finishing powder to be applied over foundation or worn alone now for touch ups.

MUFE Make Up For Ever HD Powder Comact 124 Kabuki Brush

MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Pressed Powder ($41 CAN) is dreamy, amazing and everything I wanted it to be. It blurs imperfections in the skin like blemishes and wrinkles (HELLO), sets makeup, and is excellent at absorbing oil in the t-zone. If you have issues with shine, or melting make up halfway through the day, you have to try the HD Pressed Powder.

I only need a small amount on the brush, and as with the Microfinish Powder, a little goes a long way. It has lasted me “forever” (see what I did there)! I apply it using their luxe kabuki brush (#124 $60), and easily toss it into my American Apparel leather make up bag, which goes in my purse. Boom.

Verdict? Love. You need this.

MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Powder Compact is available online, at Sephora (they have two sizes!), and at MAKE UP FOR EVER counters.
