I regularly change up the contents of the make up bag in my purse. I am still a huge fan of the leather pouches from American Apparel Carry All Pouch – they feel substantial and well made. I like the ones with nice heavy gold zippers, they add a luxe feel that you don’t get from a nylon zipper. Details, people! In a pinch, you can take one out of your purse when travelling and you have a mini evening bag that holds your phone, some plastic/money and your beauty essentials.

Anis de Flavigny Violette candies – I love these, they make my mouth taste like sweet perfume-y flowers. I love violets and always have these.

Charlotte Ronson Closer Finishing Powder – perfect for touching up shiny skin

Lancome Le Lipstique lip pencil in Natural Mauve – the best and the ONLY lip pencil I have and will ever use. It matches my lips perfectly, and a quick outline makes my lips look full & youthful. Long lasting, as well. This with a little lip balm (La Mer Lip Balm, which was at the bottom of my purse and did not make the photo shoot!) is the perfect day lip for me.

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Lilac Rose –  From Bobbi Brown’s Spring 2013 Lilac Rose collection, this sheer yummy lip gloss actually makes me think of a big lush peony. It’s perfect and I love it.

Stila Yumberry Crush Lip & Cheek Stain – the perfect soft pink sheer stain, makes you look like you just finished a cherry popsicle. Great way to quickly add some colour to lips and cheeks on the go!

Korres Lip Glaze in Jasmine – How have I not reviewed this? Honestly, the best tinted lip balms every, the famous and well loved Korres Lip Butters ( I have Jasmine, Guava and Pomegranate) recently came out with a tube packaging “Glaze”. Easier to apply on the run than sticking my fingers in a pot, very moisturizing and adds a universally flattering nude shade to my lips.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Bel Ami – my fave plum lip colour in the world. A little sexier than a sweet pink, and a great way to add quick polish to any look.

Perfumes: A little mini bottle of my latest Chanel obesh, Jersey, and a roller bottle of my secret weapon, Egyptian Musk – because it makes me smell clean and makes any perfume smell better-  and two little atomizers I’ve filled with Guerlain Apres L’Ondée and Eau de Lingerie. Like the Scouts, my motto is “Be Prepared”.
