Schaf: Natural, Effective, Anti-Aging Skincare

Scaf Skincare

The first thing I noticed about Schaf was their slick and elegant modern packaging. I love the clean design and unfussy style – that’s kind of how I like my skincare too. Clean and unfussy. Their products are unscented and feel soothing and luxe on skin. I loved the whole line. The main point of difference I noticed about Schaf would be the incredible texture of each product – almost impossible to describe. But every product feels beautiful, gentle, and “skin friendly”, if that helps. The complete lack of fragrance is also big. See what Schaf has and doesn’t have here.

The Facial Cleanser ($35, 237ml) is AMAZING. Yes, in all caps. It’s based on aloe and coconut oil, with chamomile, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and cucumber. It has a very light liquid texture, and if you really rub, you can get a tiny bit of lather. It feels soothing and cooling on my skin, especially when I’m feeling sensitive with acne, eczema or too much sun and wind. Along with my beloved Skinny & Co Facial Coconut Oil, Schaf Cleanser is my favourite facial cleanser. Yes I have so many and I love a lot of them. But there is something so bare and sheer yet effective with Schaf’s formula. Schaf – please make a body cleanser version for the shower just like this!

Schaf Radiance Firming Serum ($65, 30ml) is a light, clear serum that absorbs into skin beautifully, leaving it dewy and moisturised. It has tone correcting super gentle fruit acids along with buckets of hyaluronic acid to plump up skin for a perfect glow. I use it a first step in my post cleansing skincare routine and love the way my skin feels.

If you’re looking for an effective moisturiser that nourishes deeply without clogging pores, you must try the Schaf Moisturizer. Its a gorgeous moisturizer that keeps my skin healthy all day long. It’s perfect for all skin types -even oily- and makes a great base for makeup. It’s also idea for post-shave skin, my husband loves it too.

The Schaf Eye Cream/Night Cream ($60, 30ml) is a fantastic product. Full of marine collagen, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, peptides, grape seed oil, african shea, jojoba seed oil, cucumber, and co-enzyme Q10, this cream packs a one-two punch  and deeply nourishes skin. I’ve used it mostly as an eye cream and love it. After two weeks of daily use two times a day, I definitely noticed my skin was plumper and more nourished. I’m super picky about my eye creams – they can’t just disappear into my skin. I want real  moisture! I also love to use this on my neck, which I cannot moisturise enough! Schaf Eye Cream/Night Cream delivers.

The Schaf Purifying Scrub ($40, 120ml) is a simple, gentle scrub that does what it says. I love it. Not too rough but actually scrubs away dead skin. Lava particles and bamboo beads gently cleanse and purify skin. One of my favourite scrubs, and my husband loves it for keeping his face clear and free of ingrown hairs.

Omg omg omg the Schaf Shave Cream ($35, 237ml). I can’t even with this gorgeous and luxurious product. It feels so good I just wanted to sink all my fingers into the pot and play with it. It spreads on skin like silk, and makes shaving a dream. I’ve been using it for legs and underarms (where as I often get eczema and psoriasis rashes from shaving) and my skin has been so happy! I gush about this because it is that amazing.
