I’m in love with Tata Harper skincare. From the gorgeous bright green glass bottles and jars, to the magical elixir within, Tata Harper makes my skin happy. Tata Harper has taken organic and natural beauty and skincare, along with her beautiful ingredients, and added a luxury aspect that turned the green beauty movement on it’s head. Yes, skincare and beauty can be natural and full of back yard-y ingredients, but Tata Harper proves it can also satisfy our need for luxurious pampering.
When I first opened the jar of Tata Harper Redefining Body Balm and inhaled (as one does with new skincare) I swooned over the delicious fragrance of rose and rosehip. From Tata Harper:
This thoroughly hydrating, high-technology body balm contains a proprietary blend of butters that when used leave the appearance of scars and stretch marks less noticeable. Delivers optimal moisture for a soft, supple appearance.
Product Benefits:
- Provides optimal, concentrated moisture to the skin.
- Rich in vitamins and antioxidants to leave the skin looking nourished and protected.
I use oils and balms on my skin on a regular basis, as a compliment to my usual body lotion of the day. Areas like elbows and knees need extra moisture, and I personally love the feeling of massaging an oil or balm into my stretch marks and scars. I don’t hate them or want to hide them, but all of my skin feels and looks better when it’s nourished. And, I’ve seen marks on my skin fade with regular use of certain oils and non-medical topical treatments.
The Redefining Body Balm is thick and has a thick buttery texture that melts into skin on contact. It’s easy to massage into skin and leaves it glowing. Yes, there is a bit of oiliness for a little while after application, but it soaks into the skin beautifully, with the oils and butters protecting the skin for ages. My skin stayed soft and moisturised for hours and hours after applying the Redefining Body Balm. I love it and use at the end of the day to wake up with beautiful skin, head to toe. A little goes a long way, as it is so buttery you can really massage it all over. If I’ve had any scrapes or bug bites, I find the RBB soothing and healing.
Redefining Body Balm has a lovely and soft fragrance that smells like roses, mixed with shea and mango butters is beautiful. As a matter of fact it’s made me want a simple clean rose perfume…ok, ANOTHER simple clean rose perfume. Thinking Jo Malone London Red Roses…
