Rebecca Minkoff for Essie means another gorgeous collection, and their Fall 2015 collection is just that. It’s inspired by vintage 70s rock and roll – think Almost Famous, or Bebe Buell. Those beautiful women and their carefree rocker style are eternally chic. It’s kind of everywhere right now with the resurgence of flared jeans and fringe and I am totally loving it. There are six shades – three creams and three metallic shimmers and they’re all gorgeous.

I think the metallics are my favourite! Photos below are using two coats of Essie on Grow Stronger with one coat of Good To Go quick-dry topcoat. Photos hardly do these stunners justice. Leggy Legend practically glows, and Bell Bottom Blues is one of the richest deep metallic blues I own. Frock N Roll is one of those “purple so deep it’s almost black” shades with an incredible silvery rose shimmer. All three metallics were non-staining.
