Two polishes from the Essie Resort 2016 Collection really caught my eye. The perfect bubble gum pink of Essie Delhi Dance and the minty fresh green of Going Guru. When I grabbed them to swatch I realized they were the perfect preppy combination of green and pink that I love!

Delhi Dance is a bright pink cream with a slightly chalky consistency. It’s so bright and flattering against my medium-fair skin, but probably could have used three coats. I did two and there is a bit of streaking on a couple nails. Love it though!

Going Guru is a minty green shade, the kind that Essie does very well! Again, the formula is a tad streaky, so three coats would probably give full coverage. Still it’s an awesome colour of green and I kept looking at my hands when I was wearing it. It makes me think of the green Fire King Jade-ite dishes from the 50s. Love!

These are really great shades. I have similar shades, but I don’t have a bubble gum pink as bright as Delhi Dance, and my greens are definitely more greyed out than the vivid Going Guru. I also think these would make amazing summer pedi shades!
