Ooh la la, how did it take me so long to fall down the Rescue Beauty nail polish rabbit hole? I honestly don’t know. They are the only nail polishes I have purchased online, and perhaps that is because I knew there was just nowhere I would see them and be able to buy them, so I had to take the plunge. I saw a few swatches online – Thank You, I think – and it was downhill from there.
Here they are in their gorgeousness:
Purple Haze – isn’t it “grape”? Seriously, this may be the prettiest purple I have. I adore it, and the formula on these polishes is divine. They practically apply themselves. Two coats to gorgeousness.
Ok, Rescue Beauty Thank You may be one of my favourite neutral natural nail shades with shimmer to date. It is so subtle – like a butterfly. Again, flawless formula and dreamy application.
Rescue Beauty Fire Queen – now this is something special. It is a sheer green jelly, and above is three coats. I suppose you could apply four for an opaque finish, but I always like a bit of a sheerness to my jellies. This shade is an ode the Fire King glassware of the 30s, and I adore it.
All of the RBL polishes wore well, with several days before any tip wear or chips. I’m using OPI Nail Envy Base Coat and one coat of Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat. I ordered my Recuse Beauty Lounge polishes from their website.
