NEWS FLASH: I am a moisturizing fanatic. Honestly, if you could see my house….I have hand creams, body creams and lip balms everywhere. On every end table, in every “catch all” basket (ps I have a lot of these too. Send help). I have many lotions and creams that I like, many that I love, and a few that I can’t imagine being without. The Bioderma Atoderm line contains a few of the latter.
Bioderma Atoderm is formulated for very dry skin – skin that is itchy, dry and even irritated, itchy skin. I started using it first when my dad was sick with cancer – near the end, his skin was so dry but also very sensitive and he was sensitive to fragrance as well. The body cream was his favourite. I’ve kept some on hand ever since.
Bioderma Atoderm Gentle Shower Gel is one of my favourite shower gels. I love it during winter months when my skin is dry, and during summer after spending a day in the sun. I also love it for shaving my legs and underarms, as it never irritates. It does have a scent, but it is so soft and simply smells clean versus soapy. Soft and fresh and I love using it as a hand wash as well.
Bioderma Atoderm PP Baume (Ultra Nourishing Balm) is a body lotion staple for me. I’ll start off the bat by saying the main ingredients are water, glycerin, and mineral oil. If you are anti-mineral oil, well, this isn’t for you. However, it is the best ingredient in the world for retaining moisture in dehydrated skin and lips. The best – period. I use it right after the bath or shower and it keeps my skin dewy and soft. It’s perfect for bare leg weather, and it also amazing post-shave.
I’ve been singing the praises of Bioderma Atoderm Moisturizing Stick for awhile now. It’s the perfect lip balm stick! It’s not too hard and waxy, not too shiny, and no noticeable scent or taste. Easy to toss in the purse or pocket, Bioderma lip balm is perfect for men and women. Use it at bedtime to wake up to soft lips, or under lipstick for a perfectly smooth canvas. It’s under $10 at the drugstore and a must-have for anyone suffering from chapped lips and all lip balm lovers.
I love the whole Bioderma brand. Their skincare feels and looks like a cross between a luxe French/European brand and medi skincare but is sold at the drugstore at affordable prices. What’s not to love?
