SYNTHETIC DE CHANEL

Audacious, contemporary and unexpected, SYNTHETIC DE CHANEL is the 1st COLLECTION LIBRE developed by Lucia Pica and the Makeup Creation Studio. Inspired by cityscapes and urban materials, Lucia Pica envisioned this collection as a unique experience. Urbanized tones are revisited. Colours and substances are hypnotized. Glass, metal and rubber transform into unusual shades and textures, while natural pink, coral and red hues add a fresh and cheerful touch.

SYNTHETIC DE CHANEL offers a contrasting palette of textures, colours and lights.

Leave it to CHANEL to completely reinvent what we think of when we think “Holiday makeup”. The new release is a celebration of synthetics materials and the otherworldly, with an almost space age vibe. I love it.

Sheer meets intense. Matte and glossy collide. The artificial clashes with the real in a bold new makeup collection inspired by the material urban world. Striking contrasts of colours, textures, intensities and light capture a contemporary edge and thrilling moment in time.

I had so much fun playing with this line. CHANEL puts forth a dramatic look with this yet every colour and item I received is so wearable for everyday beauty. The Rouge Allure Lipstick in Ultraberry and Lip Gloss in Supernude are both gorgeous shades, perfect on many skin tones and ideal for transitioning into cooler weather. The Supernude Lipgloss is so gorgeous, if you love a nude lip, get to the counter or site asap to grab this beauty! I plan to share my experimentation with the makeup looks soon. My daughter Biddy interpreted the CHANEL promo image for this line and I was blown away.

The nail polishes in this collection are definitely a departure for CHANEL. Especially the Le Vernis Pink Rubber, which is a soft nude-pink matte polish meant to evoke, well, rubber. Perfect for the synthetic and futuristic vibe of this collection. The Hyperrose Glass is a super sheer pink, that I may actually end up wearing on its own, but it looks gorgeous on Pink Rubber. I haven’t tried it on the gorgeous silver Liquid Mirror yet, but plan to!
