Yes, that’s right. In the time it takes you to powder your face, you can have a lasting tan. Actually, just powder your face, and you’re done! I’m not sure how it took me this long to jump on the Vita Liberata* bandwagon but I’m sure glad I did. It’s been getting raves and winning over beauty editors everywhere!
I love self tanning, as it’s a safe way to add a glow year round. A little “natural” glow means a little less make up, which I also love because I love to see actual skin vs a mask. And, I’m a bit lazy. Self tanning is even better when it’s super easy and looks gorgeous. Vita Liberata created what I think is a revolutionary way to self tan with a Self Tanning Bronzing Mineral Powder. From the website:
Trystal3™ Technology combines an instant pure mineral bronze colour with long lasting self tan results for a beautiful, natural – looking medium tan that lasts for days. The innovative formula is a world – first self tanning bronzer. Oil – free with micronised crystals for sheer, lightweight bronzing coverage and added DHA for a lasting tan result, this unique bronzing powder will leave you with soft, smooth, healthy looking skin.
Vita Liberata powder is very concentrated, so you need only the smallest amount. It’s a mineral powder, so it’s all about the buffing and swirling vs applying lots of product. It comes with a beautiful Kabuki brush for perfect application. I did not get that when I first applied it and had a real oompa loompa moment. When I took only the smallest amount on the brush and shook it off really well before applying it was perfection. I stopped and stared at myself and could not believe it. It doesn’t coat the skin as much as a powder foundation so your skin is still visible and doesn’t feel “made up” or cakey at all. It’s weightless and leaves behind a glow – that’s it. I forget what shade I have – it’s not on the bottom of the jar and I got rid of the box. There are two shades, light and medium, and I’m pretty sure I have the medium which is why I only need to use a tiny bit.
It lasted a couple days, maximum, and thankfully never gets orange or oxidizes. It may have lasted longer if I had applied more, but I liked the shade I achieved. If you wash and exfoliate regularly it obviously won’t last as long, but that will make any self tanner including Vita Liberata apply evenly.
Verdict – LOVE! A new staple in my beauty stash of miracles.
Vita Liberata Self Tanning Bronzing Powder is $68 CAN
, including the Kabuki brush (valued at $68 on it’s own) and it’s worth every penny.
