Guerlain has me feeling the fall vibes with some of their gorgeous new offerings. The Guerlain eye shadow palettes for Fall 2016 are stunning! I think I’m in love, and I may even be ready for fall. Yes, I said it…ready. For. Fall. Guerlain has a few palettes for this fall that are all gorgeous. Usually my favourite shades are golds, bronzes, greens, and burgundy-taupes. This collection spoke to me! Guerlain launched a new concealer, as well as repackaging their beloved Lingerie de Peau foundation and they’ve added a stunning new brush to their collection as well.

I received the perfect Guerlain 03 Coq D’Or 5 Couleurs Palette, which is a perfect selection of classic fall shades. They all have a touch of shimmer, except the lightest base shade, which is a perfect creamy ivory. They are quite sheer yet build up easily. Sheer is my jam, so these worked perfectly for me. I used the green shade under my eyes and LOVE it.  From left to right, the light ivory base smooths and illuminates, then two somewhat nude shades for accenting and soft contouring, and two smoky shades for a bit of oomph and drama.

The new Guerlain Multi-Perfecting Concealer Hydrating Blur Effect is already at Holy Grail status! A gorgeous thin blendable texture makes application a dream. It is never cakey, lasts all day long and feels weightless on the skin while adding moisture. This is very important especially if you’re using it around the eyes.

The already classic Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation now has a perfect Guerlain Foundation Brush, as well as revamped packaging. It applies to the skin like a dream – I like to pump onto the back of hand, then using my fingers I apply it to the areas that need more coverage. A pat on each cheek, on the nose, the forehead, chin and then softly buff it into my skin with the divine brush. Guerlain brushes are so beautiful – I have a Les Meteorites brush that has gone missing in my mountain of beauty products. I may have to *gasp* organise the pile so I can find it. It’s my favourite brush in my whole collection. They feel beautiful in the hand as well as looking beautiful in a purse on on your counter.

Topping it all off is the delicious Petite Robe Noire Nude lipstick in Beige Lingerie – yummy! The only lipstick I wear is nude or a “my lips but better” and Guerlain nailed that shade with Beige Lingerie! I received this shade directly from them and it’s like they know my  lips better than I do! This lipstick is semi sheer and deeply hydrating, and I love the way it makes my lips feel. It adds the perfect amount of soft shine without being sticky or goopy. The soft shade means it’s one of those colours you can apply without a mirror. Not to mention the sweet delicious Petite Robe Noire taste and scent – yummy and perfect.
