Feeling a little dehydrated after a summer sun, wind and being outdoors? While we brace ourselves for cooler temperature and central heating, it is time to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize* and pamper the skin you’re in. I love the cotton/cloth masks for deep moisturizing, but I think I may have found the cream equivalent to delivering deep juicy moisture to my skin. Dr. Sebagh is a moisture expert, with many magical potions and cult status as a skincare expert. He is known as the “Botox King” and is on-call for many of the most famous faces out there. He uses only the finest quality stuff in his potions- the best and most effective ingredients money can buy. I love his Serum Repair (review to come…) but right now I will wax poetic about his Rose de Vie Hydrating Mask.
It is a lovely pretty soft pink shade, and smells like lush dewy roses. I love to take a nice long shower, apply the mask to my face, then do my post-shower routine: head to toe moisturizing (also with roses, coincidentally…) , combing out and conditioning the mane, etc etc. After around 15 minutes, I wipe it off gently with a warm damp cloth and bask in my plump, glowing and dewy skin. The restorative and healing properties of rose are amazing, and what rose can do to your skin (and even our lips) is even more amazing. Read more about my rosewater obsession here and here.
So, if your skin is feeling a little dull and dry, get Dr Sebagh Rose de Vie Hydrating Mask and put the glow of the rose back in your cheeks.
I got my Dr. Sebagh Rose de Vie Hydrating Mask from Gee Beauty in Toronto– they deliver btw. Dr. Sebagh is available on their website, as well as Barneys NY, Beautyhabit & Space NK. It retails for around $120 for a 50ml jar, and trust me- the tiniest amount goes a long way.
